Federal spending
spending
What it does
Use this when you need federal obligation totals and rankings by agency, place-of-performance state, NAICS, or recipient in one call, with award record IDs behind top rows. Choose contracts, idvs, or all explicitly; all includes contracts and IDVs only. Fiscal years measure annual net obligations. Date ranges select award dates and return the matching annual obligation buckets. Do not use for grants, transaction-date spending, award ceilings, or a parent family's total; use recipient_profile for family totals.
Integration notes
Keep the explicit award scope and period basis with every total. Supporting IDs are examples behind each top group; the total covers all matching groups, including those outside the displayed ranking.
