Update my claimed company profile

What it does

Changes the named fields of a claimed company profile the signed-in user's account owns, by its UEI from g2x_list_my_company_profiles: description, employee_count, website, careers_url, jobs_publication_opt_out and dba_name. Fields not named keep their values; null clears a field other than description. The change shows on the company's public page in the GovCon Directory. A profile another account claimed, or one nobody has claimed, is refused. A claimed company profile is the company's public page in the G2X GovCon Directory, which anyone on G2X can see; the user's account claimed it as the company's owner (GovCon Directory > My Claimed Profiles). Only its owner can edit it, and only the name G2X shows for the company (doing business as, DBA), its description, headcount, website, careers page and whether scraped job openings are hidden from public job browsing. The registered SAM.gov data on the page (legal name, CAGE code and address) is not edited here. It is not a G2X AI profile: G2X AI profiles (g2x_list_ai_profiles) are the private context Lumen and Bid Hub use for the user's own work.

Inputs

  • uei (text, required): The company's UEI, from g2x_list_my_company_profiles
  • description (text, optional): The company's description on its public page; replaces the current one
  • employee_count (text, or null, optional): Headcount: 0-10, 11-50, 51-100, 101-300 or 300+; null clears it
  • website (text, or null, optional): The company's website; https:// is added when missing; null clears it
  • careers_url (text, or null, optional): A public http(s) careers page where G2X looks for the company's job openings; null clears it, and G2X then finds the careers page from the website
  • jobs_publication_opt_out (true or false, optional): true hides job openings G2X found on the web from public job browsing; jobs the company posted itself stay visible
  • dba_name (text, optional): Doing business as (DBA): the name G2X shows for the company. Enter the legal business name if the company uses no DBA; an empty value restores the SAM.gov registration name.

What it returns

One answer: a title, named facts and a text body, plus notes on what the answer covers.
