What it does

Searches federal opportunities in G2X by keywords, with optional NAICS, fiscal year and posted or due date filters, and returns up to eight bounded rows with G2X record links. Open notices by default; status closed finds expired and archived notices, and any finds both. A past period (an earlier fiscal year or calendar year, or dates that ended before today) includes closed notices without setting status. with_readable_documents true keeps only notices with a document G2X has already read. A National Stock Number (NSN), dashed or not, finds only the notices that name it, and each row names the NSNs its notice names. It does not return notice bodies, summaries, attachments, or bulk extracts; a notice's summary comes with its record. Results fit the user's company only when the session is calibrated and its NAICS codes are passed. Each notice lists its G2X page and SAM.gov page links where they exist; show those links with the notice.

Inputs

  • query (text, required): Words from the title, agency, or solicitation number.
  • naics_codes (list of text, optional): NAICS codes to filter by, 2 to 6 digits each, e.g. 541512.
  • status (text, optional): open: still accepting responses. closed: expired or archived notices. any: both. Leave it out to get open notices, or open and closed ones for a past period. Allowed values: open, closed, any.
  • fiscal_year (whole number or list of whole numbers, optional): Federal fiscal year a notice was posted in, such as 2016, or consecutive years such as [2021, 2022].
  • posted_after (text, optional): Posted on or after this date, YYYY-MM-DD.
  • posted_before (text, optional): Posted on or before this date, YYYY-MM-DD.
  • response_deadline_before (text, optional): Responses due on or before this date, YYYY-MM-DD.
  • limit (whole number, optional): Default: 5.
  • with_readable_documents (true or false, optional): true keeps only notices with at least one document G2X has already read, so its text can be read now. Notices with no files, with files G2X has not read yet, or whose documents can't be checked right now are left out, and the result shows no total.

What it returns

A list of matching opportunities, each with its title, solicitation number, agency, due date and a link to its G2X record.
