Move a G2X pipeline item

g2x_move_pipeline_item

What it does

Moves a pipeline item to a stage named by id or name. The stage's gates apply: a blocked move answers with the missing fields and open checklist items; an editor may pass override_rationale. Moving an item to its current stage changes nothing.

Inputs

  • pipeline_id (text, required): A pipeline id from g2x_list_pipelines
  • item_id (text, required): A pipeline item id from g2x_get_pipeline
  • stage (text, required): A stage id or stage name on that pipeline
  • override_rationale (text, optional): An editor's reason for moving past a blocked stage gate
  • expected_stage (text, optional): The stage (name or id) the item was in when you read it; a move from a stale read is refused
  • operation_id (text, optional): Your id for this write (a UUID). Retry with the same id after a lost reply: G2X will not apply it twice.

What it returns

One answer: a title, named facts and a text body, plus notes on what the answer covers.
