Connect VS Code
to G2X.
VS Code is Microsoft's code editor. Its chat, including GitHub Copilot, can use G2X once you add the G2X server. You can add it in one click.

Set up VS Code
You need a G2X account; review G2X plans. The server URL is https://mcp.g2x.com/mcp.
- Choose Install G2X in VS Code. Or run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP, paste https://mcp.g2x.com/mcp and name it govcon.
- When VS Code opens your browser, sign in with your G2X account.
If your organization uses GitHub Copilot Business or Enterprise, an admin turns on the MCP servers in Copilot policy first.

Sign in
When you connect, a G2X sign-in page opens. Sign in with your G2X account, then choose Allow to connect your account. If you're already signed in to G2X in that browser, you see only the Allow step.
